Dr. Zhuangjun Si

Dr. Zhuangjun (June) Si is an ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataracts, and general eye diseases. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of glaucoma conditions, including open-angle glaucoma, narrow-angle glaucoma, normal-tension glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and neovascular glaucoma. Her practice encompasses diagnostic testing, medical therapy, laser procedures, and advanced surgical options such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, and glaucoma drainage devices. Additionally, Dr. Si performs both routine and complex cataract surgery with techniques for astigmatism correction to help patients achieve optimal vision.

Dr. Si earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Southern California, graduating with honors. She graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Harvey Z. Klein award for exemplary patient care. She further advanced her expertise through a glaucoma fellowship at Duke University, training with renowned experts in the field.

Dr. Si is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
