Dr. Rajesh Rao

Dr. Rajesh Rao is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus surgeon at Children's Eye Care of Michigan. He specializes in the treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), and diplopia (double vision) in both children and adults. He provides care for a wide range of pediatric eye conditions and sees patients at multiple locations in the metro Detroit area.

Dr. Rao serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and section Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. He is affiliated with several hospitals including Children's Hospital of Michigan and Beaumont Hospital, and has been recognized as a Top Doc by Hour Detroit. Dr. Rao is also involved in teaching and clinical research in pediatric ophthalmology.
