Dr. Moss Fenberg

Dr. Moss J. Fenberg is a board-certified, fellowship-trained retinal surgeon recognized by the American Society of Retinal Specialists as an expert in the care of all medical and surgical diseases of the retina, vitreous, and uvea. His specialty involves the management of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusion, retinal tears, retinal detachment, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, retinal and choroidal tumors, inflammatory ocular disease (uveitis), retinal dystrophy, vitreous disorders, and complications of ocular trauma. He is also an expert in the surgical management of complex cataract repair, including suture-less intraocular lens implantation and combined vitrectomy-cataract extraction techniques.

Dr. Fenberg sees patients in Durango and Cortez, Colorado, as well as in Farmington, New Mexico. He provides surgical care at Colorado’s #1-ranked Animas Surgical Hospital and at the Four Corners Ambulatory Surgical Center in Farmington. In addition to clinical and surgical work, he has a strong interest in the evolving healthcare landscape and the role of independent, physician-owned medical practices. He co-founded the Southwest Eye Research Center, creating the area’s only ophthalmic clinical trial site, and serves as principal investigator on multiple clinical trials.
