About Me
Dr. Jonathan Harder is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retinal specialist with over a decade of experience treating diseases of the retina and vitreous. Since 2012, he has been serving patients in Grand Junction and the Western Colorado region, providing expert care through office-based medical and laser treatments for a wide range of retinal conditions.
Dr. Harder’s clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of retinal vascular disorders, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He is committed to preserving vision and improving quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.
Dr. Harder earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Lafayette College. He then completed an ophthalmology residency in Columbus, Ohio, and a two-year medical and surgical retina fellowship in Slingerlands, New York, where he gained extensive training in complex retinal diseases and advanced treatment techniques. Outside of medicine, Dr. Harder enjoys running, cycling, hiking, woodworking, and spending quality time with his family.
