About Me
Dr. Sneha Padidam is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears, and retinal detachment. She aims to combine advanced imaging and evidence-based treatments with clear communication, so people understand their diagnosis and options at every step. After ophthalmology residency at Detroit's Kresge Eye Institute, where she served as Chief Resident and earned top OKAP recognition, Dr. Padidam completed a two-year retina fellowship with the Retina Group of Washington. Her interests include medical and surgical management of macular disease, vein occlusions, and complex retinal detachments, as well as office-based procedures such as intravitreal injections and laser therapy. In addition to clinical care, her work has appeared in peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals and at major national meetings. Patients appreciate her thorough exams, practical counseling, and steady, compassionate approach to sight-threatening conditions.
