About Me
Dr. Julia Fallon is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at New York Retina Consultants. She completed medical school at New York University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of her class and receiving an Alpha Omega Alpha award recognizing her outstanding scholastic achievement. Dr. Fallon then completed an internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by ophthalmology residency and a two-year surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she served as chief resident and received the Austin T. Grey Memorial Scholarship Award. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, retinal tears and detachments, and complications related to cataract surgery and intraocular lenses. Dr. Fallon is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. She is dedicated to providing careful, compassionate care, taking time to explain conditions and treatment options so patients feel supported throughout their care.
