Dr. Alan Dayan

Dr. Alan R. Dayan is an experienced ophthalmologist who specializes in diseases and conditions of the retina. He provides thorough, up-to-date care in a compassionate setting and has been recognized by New York Magazine's Best Doctors, Castle Connolly's Top Doctors, and the New York Times’ Superdoctors.

After earning his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Dayan received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery at the Vitreoretinal Foundation/University of Tennessee.

Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Dayan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the New York State Ophthalmology Society.
