About Me
Dr. Himani Goyal is an ophthalmologist at NYU Langone dedicated to providing compassionate eye care. She specializes in anterior segment surgical evaluations, refractive cataract surgery, micro-invasive glaucoma surgery, endothelial and penetrating keratoplasty, secondary intraocular lens placement, and pterygium excisions. Dr. Goyal also manages various forms of keratitis and ocular surface disease, including dry eye syndrome, helping patients maintain and improve vision through both medical and surgical interventions.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Goyal serves as chief of ophthalmology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where she trains the next generation of ophthalmologists. She chairs the medical advisory board for the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration in New York City and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Cornea Society, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
