About Me
Dr. Brian Savoie is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon dedicated to treating disorders of the retina and vitreous. He holds a dual role as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and maintains a private practice where he applies his academic expertise to patient care.
His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Tulane University and a medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his ophthalmology residency at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center, serving as chief resident, and further specialized with a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at Louisiana State University.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Savoie is actively involved in research with publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of professional organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. In his personal time, he enjoys family activities, running, and the outdoors.
