About Me
Dr. Adam Lipman is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of retinal and vitreous conditions. He sees patients with a wide range of retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, and retinal detachments. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive retina care using the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.
Dr. Lipman completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief resident, and then pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. During his fellowship, he acted as a clinical instructor for Tufts University ophthalmology residents and participated in national clinical trials investigating new treatments for macular degeneration. His internship included training in ocular pathology at Will's Eye Hospital with Dr. Ralph Eagle.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Lipman has authored academic publications and presented at professional meetings, staying at the forefront of retina care to offer his patients the most current treatment options.
