Meet Dr. Yu-Guang He
About Me
Dr. Yu-Guang He is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vitreoretinal disorders. He serves as the program director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program. Dr. He treats a wide range of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, retinal vein occlusion, and uveal melanoma. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. He emphasizes a problem-solving approach, working with each patient to develop a customized treatment plan for acute and chronic retinal conditions. He has been on the faculty at UT Southwestern since 2001 and continues to be actively involved in clinical care and research.
