About Me

Dr. Angeline Wang is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in retinal and vitreous conditions for both adults and children. Her clinical expertise includes macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and inherited retinal degenerations. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical retina care, with a focus on advanced vitreoretinal surgery.

Dr. Wang completed her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at UC Irvine's Gavin Herbert Eye Institute. She joined the faculty at UT Southwestern in 2019, where she is actively involved in patient care, teaching, and research.

She is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Wang has been recognized with several awards for her contributions to residency education and has been listed among the Best Doctors in Collin County.
