About Me

Dr. Judy E. Kim is a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center who specializes in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She treats a range of retinal conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and retinal vein occlusion. Her clinical expertise includes retinal surgery, advanced ocular imaging, and teleophthalmology.

Dr. Kim is board certified in ophthalmology and previously served as a tenured professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin before joining UT Southwestern in 2024.
