About Me
Dr. Sujit Itty is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery at Retinal Consultants of Arizona. He joined the practice in 2015 after completing his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Dr. Itty's comprehensive training includes an ophthalmology residency at Duke University and an internship in Phoenix, which followed his medical education at Mayo Medical School.
Dr. Itty is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on medical and surgical diseases of the retina, and he has served as a co-investigator on several clinical trials. His clinical focus encompasses the full spectrum of retinal conditions, from diabetic eye disease to retinal detachments and macular degeneration.
