Meet Dr. Edward Quinlan
About Me
Dr. Edward J. Quinlan is an ophthalmology specialist focusing on medical and surgical conditions of the vitreous and retina. He treats a wide range of retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Quinlan graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1994. He completed his ophthalmology residency at West Virginia University Medical Center and a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute of the Johns Hopkins Hospitals. He served on the faculty of the Wilmer Eye Institute as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology from 2002 to 2007.
His research involved investigating new treatments for retinal diseases, and he has served as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials. Dr. Quinlan is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and he participates in training other retinal specialists.
