About Me
Dr. Stephen Anesi, MD, FACS, is an ophthalmologist and Associate Partner at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution (MERSI) in Waltham. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and then pursued a fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis with Dr. C. Stephen Foster in Cambridge. Dr. Anesi joined MERSI in 2011 and has been providing specialized eye care since.
His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of eye conditions, including uveitis, scleritis, keratitis, dry eye, cataracts, and glaucoma. With advanced training in ocular immunology, he is particularly skilled in managing complex inflammatory eye diseases. Dr. Anesi also offers general ophthalmology services and cataract surgery, providing comprehensive care for his patients.
