Dr. Sinan Albear

Sinan Albear, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with special interest in cataract, corneal, and glaucoma care. He helps patients see comfortably again using modern cataract surgery with advanced lens options and offers thoughtful care for corneal disease, from pterygium to keratoconus. For patients with glaucoma, he emphasizes early detection and minimally invasive procedures when appropriate.

Dr. Albear completed residency at SUNY Downstate and additional fellowship training in cornea and glaucoma at Your Eye Specialists in Florida after earning his medical degree at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He provides individualized surgical plans—including premium IOLs, corneal cross-linking, and MIGS—and clear expectations before and after surgery so patients know exactly what to expect.
