Dr. Lauren Dhar

Dr. Lauren S. Dhar is a glaucoma specialist at Glaucoma Associates of Texas, offering the full spectrum of medical, laser, and surgical care for patients with glaucoma. She works closely with each patient to slow disease progression, protect vision, and make complex treatment decisions easier to navigate. Dr. Dhar completed ophthalmology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Southern California. Before relocating to Texas, she cared for complex glaucoma patients and taught cataract and glaucoma surgery at the Krieger Eye Institute in Baltimore. She remains active in education and professional societies and enjoys cooking, fitness, and time with family and friends.
