About Me

Dr. Brodowska is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist with more than a decade of experience diagnosing and treating complex retinal and vitreous conditions. She cares for patients with problems such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes, and retinal vascular occlusions, and she also treats inflammation inside the eye (uveitis). Her approach emphasizes careful evaluation, clear explanations, and treatment plans designed to protect vision and support daily function.

She earned her medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College and completed ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University. She then pursued a two-year retina fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center focused on diseases of the retina and vitreous. With a strong academic research background, she also completed PhD-level work in ocular disease research at Harvard University. In practice, she performs intravitreal injections, laser photocoagulation, cryotherapy, and vitrectomy when appropriate to manage retinal disease.
