Dr. Jay Glover

Dr. Jay P. Glover is a retina specialist who completed his training at some of the nation's highest-volume centers, enabling him to provide compassionate and technologically advanced vitreoretinal care. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham/Callahan Eye Hospital, a level-1 ocular trauma center, where he was elected co-chief resident and received the Golden Apple Award as an outstanding resident instructor. He subsequently completed a two-year medical and surgical retina fellowship at the combined University of Alabama/Retina Specialists of Alabama/Hellen Keller Research program.

After completing his fellowship in 2017, Dr. Glover moved to Nashville to join Retina Consultants of Nashville, which is now Tennessee Retina. He sees patients for a wide range of retinal conditions, utilizing the most advanced equipment and techniques, including vitrectomy, laser surgery, and intravitreal injections. Outside of his practice, he is an avid sports enthusiast and outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his family.
