Dr. Frances Wu

Dr. Frances Wu is a vitreoretinal surgeon and ocular oncologist who cares for adults with retinal disease and eye tumors at Mass Eye and Ear. She offers comprehensive medical and surgical management of conditions such as uveal melanoma, retinal detachments, macular holes, and complications from diabetes or vascular disease. After undergraduate study at Harvard College, Dr. Wu earned her medical degree at the University of California San Diego. She completed internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Mass Eye and Ear.
