About Me

Dr. Tomasz “Tommy” Stryjewski is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in retinal surgery and diseases of the macula. He evaluates patients at Tallman Eye Associates and treats a wide range of retinal and vitreous conditions, from diabetic eye disease to complex retinal detachments and trauma, with the goal of protecting vision and helping patients stay active in daily life.

He graduated with honors from Harvard Medical School and completed internal medicine training at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then trained in ophthalmology and vitreoretinal surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as Chief Resident and directed the Eye Trauma Service. Dr. Stryjewski has received multiple honors in ophthalmology, including a Heed Fellowship and the Ronald G. Michels Fellowship Foundation Award. He also leads an active research program in Cambridge, Massachusetts focused on developing new treatments for blinding eye diseases.
