About Me
Dr. David Levine is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in treating medical and surgical diseases of the retina. He earned his undergraduate degree in Anthropology with honors at the University of Florida and graduated with honors from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. While in medical school, he was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his medical internship, a three-year residency in ophthalmology, and a two-year fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery, all at Emory University.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Levine has published numerous ophthalmic articles and presented his research at national meetings. He provides dedicated, compassionate care to patients with conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. He is a native Floridian and a third-generation physician serving his community.
