About Me
Dr. Carl H. Park is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases at Mid Atlantic Retina. He treats a wide range of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and macular holes. His clinical focus includes both medical management and surgical intervention for complex retinal disorders.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Park serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and as an Assistant Surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital. He has presented on topics such as macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, and retinal detachment, and his research interests include treatment of complex retinal detachments, macular translocation surgery, and telemedicine applications for diabetic retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity.
