About Me
Dr. Angela J. Kim is a board-certified retina specialist who diagnoses and treats adult retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy. She provides medical and surgical management for a range of vitreoretinal conditions.
Dr. Kim completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky, where she served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences, focusing on diabetic retinopathy and SARS-CoV-2 related ocular conditions. She is committed to community service, providing eye exams and coordinating vision care for low-income and uninsured individuals through various organizations. She also participated in a surgical mission trip to Guatemala. Dr. Kim practices at Retina & Vitreous of Texas.
