Meet Dr. Amy Lu

About Me

Dr. Amy Q. Lu is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with a focus on medical retina and uveitis. She treats common and complex disorders that affect the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, and inflammatory eye conditions. Dr. Lu combines detailed imaging, evidence-based therapies, and a calm, collaborative style to create treatment plans that fit each person’s life and goals. Dr. Lu earned both an MD and a PhD from Penn State College of Medicine, completed an internal medicine year and ophthalmology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and finished fellowship training in medical retina at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health. She stays engaged with clinical studies and brings the latest insights to patient care while keeping education and comfort at the center of each visit.
