About Me
David A. Quillen, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a subspecialty focus in medical retina. He serves as the George and Barbara Blankenship Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Penn State Health, where he provides comprehensive care for retinal conditions.
Dr. Quillen treats patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and hereditary retinal disorders at the Penn State Health Eye Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is actively involved in research on age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, and is dedicated to educating future ophthalmologists. Dr. Quillen has been recognized as a Best Doctor in America and has received the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
