Dr. Vipul Shah is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and cataract surgeon with extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery, cornea and external diseases (including dry eye syndrome), and comprehensive ophthalmology. After earning his undergraduate degree at Duke University, he completed medical school and residency at the University of South Florida and a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at the University of Colorado's Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute. He routinely lectures at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meetings.

Dr. Shah provides care for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, refractive errors, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, pink eye, astigmatism, myopia, and presbyopia. He offers advanced treatments such as corneal cross-linking and femto laser-assisted cataract surgery. He sees patients at locations in Charlotte and Monroe.
