Dr. Edwin Nunnery

Edwin “Trey” Nunnery, MD, is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on vision correction surgery. His primary specialty is refractive surgery, including all-laser LASIK, EVO Implantable Collamer Lens (EVO ICL), and PRK, with an emphasis on thoughtful planning and attentive care before, during, and after surgery.

Dr. Nunnery completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Emory University School of Medicine and then pursued fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical Center & Cornea Consultants of Albany. He is known for a personable, detail-oriented approach and for helping patients understand which vision correction option best fits their goals and lifestyle.
