Dr. Thellea Leveque

About Me
Dr. Leveque is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides care in both comprehensive ophthalmology and uveitis. Her comprehensive practice addresses a wide range of eye conditions including dry eye, ocular surface disease, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and eye pain. She also performs laser procedures for glaucoma and secondary cataract. Dr. Leveque oversees the ophthalmology consult service at Harborview Medical Center, providing hospital-based eye care for trauma and other acute conditions.
In her uveitis practice, Dr. Leveque diagnoses and treats complex inflammatory, autoimmune, and infectious eye diseases such as scleritis, ulcerative keratitis, and various forms of uveitis. She uses advanced diagnostics including multimodal imaging and laboratory testing, and offers treatments such as immunomodulatory therapy, periocular and intravitreal injections, and slow-release steroid implants. Dr. Leveque is also actively involved in teaching and has served as an invited lecturer and reviewer for ophthalmology journals.
