Dr. Jennifer Yu

Dr. Jennifer Yu is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides patient care at the Eye Institute at Harborview in Seattle. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, blepharitis, and ocular complications of systemic diseases such as diabetes. Dr. Yu has a particular focus on cataract surgery and routine eye care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Yu serves as Director of the 4W Ophthalmology Clinic and Director of Trauma and Consult Services for ophthalmology at Harborview Medical Center. She is a professor of clinical practice at the University of Washington and enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Yu believes that good patient care is a partnership that begins with listening and involves patient education to help individuals make informed decisions about their eye health.
