About Me
Dr. Sharmila Srinivasan is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical retina care. She completed her medical degree at the State University of New York-Upstate Medical University and then pursued a transitional internship at United Health Services hospital in New York. Her ophthalmology residency was completed at Bronx-Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by advanced fellowship training in retina at Retina Specialists in West Virginia and the National Retina Institute in Maryland.
Dr. Srinivasan is dedicated to providing comprehensive retina care for conditions such as diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. She opened her own practice to serve the local community and is affiliated with Steward Health Network and Brockton Hospital. Her approach to patient care is influenced by her family of medical professionals and her commitment to accessible, high-quality eye care.
