Dr. Babak Jian Seyedahmadi

Dr. Babak Jian Seyedahmadi is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of retinal conditions. He provides care for patients with diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and other vitreoretinal disorders at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Jian Seyedahmadi sees patients at multiple locations across Massachusetts, including Weymouth, Pembroke, Quincy, Sandwich, and West Yarmouth.

Dr. Jian Seyedahmadi completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, where his research focused on a novel therapeutic target for dry age-related macular degeneration. He also completed additional fellowship training in ocular molecular genetics and ophthalmic pathology. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the region, including Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, South Shore Hospital, and Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center.
