About Me
Dr. Steven Ness is an ophthalmologist at Boston University Eye Associates, specializing in the medical and surgical management of retinal disease. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Ness completed his medical degree at the University of Maryland, followed by an internship at Frankford Hospital, residency at Boston University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at Boston Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
Dr. Ness’s clinical interests include the medical and surgical treatment of diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, and retinal detachment. He provides care at BUEA Taunton and the Boston University Specialty Eye Clinic.
