About Me

Dr. Sara Bijan is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a focus on cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. She cares for patients with complex corneal and ocular surface disease and offers individualized plans to restore comfort and vision. Patients see her for problems such as keratoconus, Fuchs’ dystrophy, dry eye disease, and infections of the cornea. She also performs advanced techniques to improve clarity after cataracts and to treat corneal scarring or swelling. Dr. Bijan completed her undergraduate studies and medical education at the University of South Florida and remained there for internship, ophthalmology residency, and a cornea fellowship. In the operating room, she offers modern options such as endothelial keratoplasty and refractive lens solutions. In clinic, she provides thoughtful counseling so patients understand their choices and expected outcomes. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Women in Ophthalmology, and welcomes new patients seeking comprehensive, compassionate corneal and cataract care.
