Dr. Ryan Drumright

Dr. Drumright is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist who cares for patients across Middle Tennessee. He offers a full range of medical and surgical eye care with a special focus on cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and modern refractive procedures. After earning his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, he completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, followed by fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Florida Health Shands Medical Center. A Rutherford County native, he is committed to providing advanced, individualized care close to home.Patients can expect straightforward explanations, careful surgical planning, and treatment options tailored to their goals—from premium lens implants for cataract surgery to vision-correcting procedures like LASIK and PRK.
