About Me
Dr. Rocío Díaz is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices medical and surgical retina care, including vitreoretinal surgery. She evaluates and treats retinal diseases that can affect central vision, peripheral vision, and visual clarity, and she works with patients to protect vision over time.
Dr. Díaz completed a fellowship in medical and surgical retina at the Truhlsen Eye Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed ophthalmology residency training at the Hamilton Eye Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis. She earned her medical degree from the University of Panama School of Medicine. Fluent in English and Spanish, she emphasizes compassionate, effective care and partners with patients and families on a plan that fits their needs.
