Dr. Remington Horesh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon at St. Luke’s at The Villages. He treats the full range of medical and surgical retinal conditions—including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, floaters, macular holes, and retinal detachment—and offers in-office and operating-room care as appropriate. Patients describe his manner as clear, calm, and focused on preserving vision. Originally from Florida, Dr. Horesh earned a B.S. in Biotechnology at the University of Florida and a medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton. He completed ophthalmology residency at the Philadelphia College of Medicine, serving as chief resident, and a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Associates in Ophthalmology in Pittsburgh, PA. He has participated as a treating physician in clinical trials for age-related macular degeneration and remains engaged with advances in retinal therapy.
