Dr. John Lehr

John Lehr, M.D., is a retina specialist at Magruder Eye Institute in Orlando, Florida. He treats complex retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration using state-of-the-art diagnostic and laser techniques.

Dr. Lehr's path to medicine was inspired by his father's cardiology practice. He studied at Vassar College, conducted medical research at the University of Miami, and earned his medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, where he discovered his calling in retina care. After a retina fellowship, he joined Magruder Eye Institute, drawn by its advanced care and patient-centered culture.
