Dr. Qisheng You

Dr. Qisheng You is an ophthalmologist at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center who provides comprehensive eye care with a special emphasis on medical retina. He enjoys caring for adults with cataracts and common anterior segment problems as well as patients with retinal disease, taking time to explain findings and tailor plans that fit each person’s goals and daily life. Patients can see him in Ann Arbor and at the Brighton Center for Specialty Care, and he also serves veterans through the VA.

Dr. You earned his medical degree from Capital Medical University and completed an ophthalmology residency at Beijing Tongren Eye Center. After moving to the United States, he completed a medical retina fellowship at the Shiley Eye Institute (UC San Diego) and a second ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute. He speaks English and Mandarin and values clear communication so patients leave visits confident about next steps.
