About Me
Dr. Anjali Rajesh Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist and clinical associate professor at the University of Michigan Health, specializing in medical retina. She provides non-surgical management of retinal and vitreous diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular conditions, uveitis, and retinal tears and detachments.
Dr. Shah earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency at the Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. She then undertook a medical retina fellowship at the New England Eye Center, Tufts University School of Medicine. After two years in private practice in Boston, she joined the faculty at W.K. Kellogg Eye Center in 2013.
Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, cystoid macular edema, retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, retinitis pigmentosa, retinopathy of prematurity, and retinoschisis.
