About Me
Dr. Peter Gordon is a board-certified ophthalmologist with decades of experience in treating cataract, refractive procedures, and retinal disease. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed advanced fellowship training in cataract surgery, with an academic association at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Gordon has held numerous leadership roles, including past president of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and the Dekalb Medical Society, and has served on the board of Dekalb Regional Health Systems. He has contributed to ophthalmic research and co-authored publications on vitrectomy for penetrating eye injuries and visual acuity measurement.
