Dr. Allison R. Tyler is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in toric and multifocal intraocular lenses. She completed her internship at Georgetown University/Fairfax Hospital and her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, where she conducted research on advanced lens technologies. Dr. Tyler is dedicated to providing high-quality eye care and is certified in the use of the Zeimer Z8 LDV femtosecond laser and Alcon LenSx laser for precise surgical procedures.
As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and American Medical Association, Dr. Tyler stays engaged with the latest advancements in ophthalmology. She has extended her care beyond the clinic by treating patients on medical missions in Africa and Central and South America, highlighting her commitment to improving vision health globally.
