Dr. David Carlin

Dr. David Carlin is a board-certified ophthalmologist who brings more than two decades of advanced clinical and surgical expertise to CarlinVision, a father-and-son practice in Gwinnett County. After completing his undergraduate studies at Tufts University, he earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina. He then returned home to join his father and help build a long-standing practice known for exceptional patient care.

Dr. Carlin’s clinical expertise includes cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma management, cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of complex ocular disease. He is committed to staying at the forefront of evolving technologies and techniques to provide modern eye care. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Carlin has a history of community service, including volunteering with the Lions Club to provide vision screening for underserved populations.
