Dr. Noreen Shaikh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey. She cares for adults with medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, combining precise diagnostics with minimally invasive techniques tailored to each eye. Patients value her calm, communicative style and the way she explains options clearly so they can make confident decisions about their vision. Dr. Shaikh’s clinical practice spans age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears and detachments, and other macular conditions. She is experienced in advanced retinal surgery as well as office-based therapies, and she has specialized training in complex cases such as the repair of dislocated intraocular lenses. A graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College, she completed ophthalmology residency at Washington Hospital Center (Georgetown University) and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Lahey Health.
