Dr. Niloofar Piri is an ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina and vitreous. She provides comprehensive care for complex retinal disorders, including retinal detachment, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Dr. Piri has expertise in managing uveitis and intraocular inflammation caused by conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, sarcoidosis, and retinal vasculitis. She offers surgical interventions for eye trauma and medical therapies for hereditary retinal degenerations like retinitis pigmentosa.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Piri is actively involved in research focused on experimental models of hereditary retinal diseases and advanced imaging techniques for retina and uveitis disorders.
