Dr. Nileema Patel specializes in cataract and refractive surgery and provides comprehensive consultative ophthalmology. Her interests include advanced cataract surgery, premium and standard intraocular lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), and YAG posterior capsulotomy. She also offers laser-assisted cataract surgery, Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) technology, LASIK, ICL, and PRK to personalize vision correction. Patients value her warm, thorough approach and her emphasis on education and shared decision-making. Dr. Patel graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, earned her MD from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital, and finished ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with family, travel, and hiking.
