Dr. Nelson Lopez

Dr. Nelson Lopez is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializing in pediatric ophthalmology. He partners with patients to manage conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye), glaucoma, dry eye, cataracts, diabetes, and macular degeneration. Dr. Lopez also treats refractive issues including myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism, and presbyopia, and he specializes in surgical correction of strabismus (eye misalignment).

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed his medical training in Las Vegas. Licensed by the Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine since 2013 and board-certified in 2015, Dr. Lopez is committed to providing compassionate, family-centered eye care for children and adults.
