Dr. Selim Koseoglu

Dr. Koseoglu is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric eye conditions and strabismus (crossed eyes). He believes that good vision starting in childhood is the foundation for a happy, healthy life and brings a dedicated, patient-centered approach to every child he treats.

Born in Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Koseoglu completed his medical education at Istanbul University before pursuing advanced training in the United States. He completed residencies in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital and in ophthalmology at Indiana University, followed by a rigorous fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then returned to Turkey to establish a pediatric ophthalmology division at Istanbul Surgery Hospital. After nearly 18 years as division chief of the ophthalmology department at Children's Hospital Oakland in Oakland, California, Dr. Koseoglu joined Center For Sight in Las Vegas, where he continues to provide expert surgical and medical care for children.
