Dr. Neil Chesen

Dr. Neil Chesen is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience serving patients in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. He has personally performed thousands of laser vision correction procedures and cataract surgeries. Dr. Chesen holds dual board certification in ophthalmology and internal medicine, a distinction held by only a small number of physicians nationwide. He serves as Chairman of Ophthalmology at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center and is a member of the medical staff at Reading Surgery Center and The Surgical Institute of Reading.

Dr. Chesen provides comprehensive eye care, including treatment for conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic eye disease. He also specializes in corneal cross-linking for keratoconus and offers routine eye exams.
